The Black American Cultural Council (BACC) is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the cultural identity, history, and contributions of Black America. Our mission is to combat cultural appropriation, historical misrepresentation, and erasure, ensuring that our legacy is accurately represented and safeguarded.
We stand as a guardian of cultural staples such as Juneteenth, Black History Month, and other pivotal traditions, ensuring they remain authentic to our community and free from dilution or exploitation.
Through education, advocacy, and direct action, we uphold the truth of our history and the rightful ownership of our cultural heritage.
Additionally, the BACC is committed to addressing both cyber and real-life offenses that threaten the safety and dignity of Black American people. We have established a reporting and database system to track and expose cyber harassment, defamation, stalking, mobbing, threats of harm, and other digital or physical attacks against our community. By documenting these offenses, we aim to hold aggressors accountable and create actionable solutions for protection and justice.
Through collective empowerment, policy advocacy, and cultural education, the Black American Cultural Council stands as a force against oppression, ensuring that our history, identity, and people remain protected-online, in society, and beyond.
